Standard AWP File

The file is delivered via email in either CSV or MS Excel format via email to the specified user email address. 

1. NDC - Standard 11-digit National Drug Code used to identify each unique FDA approved drug
2. Unit Price - Date Sensitive per unit pricing as indicated by the manufacturer
3. Active Status Code - The file will contain both Active and Inactive NDC's
4. Box Size - The number of Units in an individual package
5. Box Quantity - The number of packages in a single box
6. Item Unit of Measure - Indicates the type of product (ML, Pill, etc.)
7. Drug Name - Manufacturer issued drug name
8. OTC Indicator - Identifies drugs that do not require a prescription
9. Therapeutic Category - Matched at the 6-digit GPI level, this field indicates the most common Therapeutic Category for each NDC
10. GPI - Generic Product Identifier groups drugs in similar therapies and classes regardless of manufacturer and quantity
11. Start Date - The date when the specific price became available
12. End Date - The date when the specific price became obsolete
13. Multi Source Code - MONY Indicator
14. Name Type Code - Used with Multi Source Code to determine Brand or Generic classification.
15. Brand and Generic Indicator - Classification as determined by Manufacturer provided data.

Monthly files are shared by the 15th of each month.
